Tombstone had the winning rally in the 8th inning with 2 runs utilizing 2 base
hits. Mark Grudzielanek led off and started the rally when he hit a single.
Miguel Cabrera next to the plate and he drew a walk. Shawn Green then drew a
walk to load the bases. Mike Lieberthal followed and he stroked a single
driving home two runs. Tombstone managed 9 in their victory.
Stephen Randolph(2-4) got the win allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings.
Randolph got relief help from Troy Percival who gained credit for his 17th
save. Roger Clemens(18-8) ended up with the loss. He pitched 7 innings
giving up 6 hits and 3 walks.
